JOB SUMMARY

Working independently and effectively with a high level of flexibility in the management of tasks and schedules. They must display the ability to work professionally with a diverse level of staff to include government, military and contractors.

Job Duties listed below, but not limited to:
· Welcoming guests, answering and directing incoming phone calls
· Fielding email inquiries using Outlook Exchange
· Preparing document such as reports and/or presentations using MS office
· Ordering and maintaining office supplies
· Provide administrative support to the assigned staff.
· Receives telephone calls and visitors to the division and direct them to the appropriate staff member.
· Arranges travel arrangements as required.
· Coordinates and facilitates for the organization project status updates/reports, as needed, and other required documentation; designate actions, ensures punctual completion, receives all responses, reviews all for completeness, and closes the action.
· Receives administrative-related information from external sources and appropriately disseminates guidance throughout the organization.
· Attends specified meetings for the sole purpose of documenting key notes.
· Receives incoming tasked actions from external sources and analyzes data related to self-directed work assignments related to the substantive focus of the organization.
· Develop effective presentations, setup and organize meetings.
· Provides assistance to staff to ensure that the tailored responses to complex inquiries from Agency offices or customers or significant interest groups are timely, complete, appropriate, and in compliance with requirements.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILL SET
· Well rounded experience within a government agency providing a variety of administrative and customer service experience.
· Possess a high level of attention to detail.
· Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite to include Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, NetMeeting and Outlook.
· Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication; ability to write non-complex written communications.
· Possess good multi-tasking skills.
· Self-starter with good organizational skills.
· Possess a sense of discretion and confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

College Degree preferred in related field with minimum of five years of administration support in a government agency.
